This event is no longer on sale.

Thursday May 18

5:00 PM  –  6:00 PM

The first of our NEW program series: One Work, Many Voices invites you to be part of an intimate discussion inspired by a single work of art.

Our discussion of the themes in Kehinde Wiley’s Marechal Floriano Peixoto II, 2012 currently on display in Strange Weather: From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, will be facilitated by Linda Whitehead, PhD.

Dr. Whitehead is the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer for the City of Bellevue. She leads the city’s efforts to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion for the people the city serves, as well as city staff. She joined City of Bellevue in August 2021, after a 30-year career in public schools.

The program will be hosted in the 3rd floor gallery after the Museum is closed to the public. Registration for this small group discussion is limited to 15 participants.
